Vacancies available in:
• Child and Family Teams - Child Assessment Team (shorter term cases/Child Protection)
• Child and Family Teams – medium to longer term cases.
• undertaking a caseload of statutory work in child protection, working with children, young people and their families to achieve positive outcomes; identifying and facilitating appropriate services and resources, regularly monitoring and reviewing services to ensure that they are provided effectively; maintaining full and accurate records, preparing and presenting reports; participating in case reviews/conferences and providing recommendations, evidence and written assessments for appropriate legal proceedings.
Salary range: starting salary is £ 24,545 p.a.
Relocation package: You can claim up to £ 8000 from the employer, to cover the costs that you will have for relocation to Wales.
Location: Cardiff, South Wales – 360.000 inhabitants, university town, on the coast – with excellent cultural life in the city and surrounded by beautiful countryside

• You have a qualification in Social work
• You have a high level of English and lots of enthusiasm
• Ideally you have experience in a similar environment and are good at coping with pressure
• You have a driving licence and the willingness to drive in the UK
• You value friendly and supportive teams
• If all goes well, you want to stay in the job for at least 2 years
