<b> 12 vacancies available – interviews January 2008
Vacancies available in: </b>
• Child and Family Teams - Child Assessment Team (shorter term cases/Child Protection)
• Child and Family Teams – medium to longer term cases.
• undertaking a caseload of statutory work in child protection, working with children, young people and their families to achieve positive outcomes; identifying and facilitating appropriate services and resources, regularly monitoring and reviewing services to ensure that they are provided effectively; maintaining full and accurate records, preparing and presenting reports; participating in case reviews/conferences and providing recommendations, evidence and written assessments for appropriate legal proceedings.
<b> Salary range: £ 22,293</b> (gross/year) upwards
<b> Location: Cardiff, South Wales – 360.000 inhabitants, university town, on the coast – with excellent cultural life in the city and surrounded by beautiful countryside </b>
• <b> We are looking for YOU: </b>
• You have a qualification in Social work
• You have a high level of English and lots of enthusiasm
• Ideally you have <b> experience in a similar environment </b>and are good at coping with pressure
• You have a driving licence and the willingness to drive in the UK
• You value friendly and supportive teams
• If all goes well, you want to stay in the job for at least 2 years
• And <b> MOST IMPORTANTLY </b>you are passionate about <b> promoting the rights of the children! </b>
